Description

(Sperare) Naraku e to ochita
(è peccato?) Kin-iro no chou wa
Ikutsu no tsumi ni hane wo nurashite yuku no?

Nakanaide
Torawareta gensou wo kowashi
Ichidokiri no shuuen wo ageyou
Hatasenai yakusoku wa mune no oku kogetsuite
Akaku akaku hazeteku yo, nee

Tu sei senza peccato?
Quanto sarà pesante il mio castigo?
Ti accorgi delle voci senza voce?
Ti accorgi dei tuoi peccati?

Nigenaide
Ayamachi mo, shinjitsu mo, uso mo
Subete yurusu mahou e to kaeyou
Ososugita kotae sae itoshikute, kanashikute
Tsuyoku tsuyoku dakishimereba, hora...

(This hope) Falling towards hell,
(is it a sin?) these golden butterflies
dipped their wings in how many sins?

Don't cry,
destroy these imprisoned illusions
Just once, rise above your demise
Hold on to the unfulfilled promises into your heart
And burst open the deep, deep red!

Are you without sin?
How heavy is my punishment?
Are you aware of that which has no voice?
Are you aware of your own sins?

Don't run,
accept your errors, the truths, the lies
And let magic change everything
With love, with sorrow, take this answer that came too late
and see, tightly, tightly hold on to it.

For the second task in :iconbb-tournament:

This might just be another tl;dr artist's comment from me, so... ^^;

The first task was supposed to be simple - draw the participating OC in a setting that best describes him or her. I say 'supposed to be' because, when I was putting finishing touches on this pic, it hit me just then how there were at least two ways to explain the significance of the setting and how it described Kei.

1. She likes myths, legends, and the occult. It's not enough for her to simply read about the myths and stuff, though; if possible, Kei will go out and explore the places involved. If she hadn't been a Beyblader, she'd probably be a crypto-zoologist or crypto-archeologist or something along similar lines of work. =P

2. Her bitbeast's element is hellfire, or darkness plus fire. Kei herself is drawn to fire, and she tends to be more of a 'dark' person herself (amiable demeanor or no). Go figure  So this setting - a dark-ish cave and her surrounded by fire - fits.

3. Her very name can be translated as such. I realized I'd never quite settled on the kanji or characters to use for her given name, so there are different meanings possible. I'd seen the name 'Kei' used in CLAMP's "Legal Drug", and it apparently meant 'flame'. The kanji in her last name translate to 'fire-night-village'. So...for everything to make sense, the whole thing becomes "flames/fire in the village at night". In any event, flames are usually best seen in the dark as well, which just...really fits. XD

I drew her holding her sword again since she likes that weapon. =P

Nope, Kei isn't generating the flames. If she were the one doing so, she'd look... well, different. XD

A nice artwork. Just a question, tho. Did you got the lyrics from Katayoku no Tori, rather the opening song for Umineko? The lyrics became familiar to me at first glance, so...

Still a good artwork. Can't wait to see more. :)
